Rate Discount Program for Low Income Seniors and Disabled Persons

Silver Lake Water & Sewer District offers a discount program for low income seniors and disabled persons—with utility rates typically discounted 50% for water (base rate only) and 25% for sewer.

Specific Qualifications Include:

  • Total household income does not exceed $75,000 per year

  • Seniors are persons 61 years of age or older

  • Disabled persons are currently receiving disability benefits from one or more of the following:

– Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

– Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

– Veteran Disability Compensation (VDC)

– Non-Grant Medical Assistance (NGMA)

– Permanent disability insurance benefits

– State permanent disability benefits

Complete the form, and return it to us by postal mail, or in person during business hours.
