The District was successful in securing a solar retrofit grant from the WA Dept of Commerce This past spring the District applied for a Department of Commerce grant, planning to build a large solar array on the headquarters building. A 100 kW AC solar roof array is planned, offsetting 1/3 of the District's Headquarter electricity consumption. More information about the awardees and program can be found here.
Our Mission The Silver Lake Water and Sewer District's mission is to provide high quality, safe and reliable water and wastewater services, while practicing good stewardship of natural and financial resources. As our service area grows, we are continually making investments in our infrastructure to ensure an adequate supply of water is readily available, and will sufficiently meet the needs of all customers.
